Snakehead

Another epic Alex Rider novel. Anthony Horowitz creates a vivid, 388 page master piece, which happens to be one of my favorite Alex Rider novels yet. In this book, Alex travel,s from outer-space to Bangkok, to the middle of no-where, to an oil rig with a lethal bomb on it. This particular Alex book has the most twists and secrets of all. Alex finds out ----SPOILER---- more about his parents than he ever has before... It just so turns out though, that the man who is telling him, his godfather, was the one who killed his parents. Alex still longs to hear more still. Some old friends also make an appearence. Such as Fox, from SAS training, and Sabina, Alex's old "girlfriend".----END OF SPOILER---- This novel is epic. If you even had a slight thought in your mind that your might want to read this series... please do yourself a favor, and read away.

Meh Weekend

I had a very busy weekend. First I played online with Kyle, in room 13. Then I had a little sleepover with Kollin, and Connor. We played basketball and swam. Then we had a war with dino chicken nuggets. Then I just relaxed. Thanks.

YO

Hey "y'all" I have had a pretty relaxed weekend so far. I had some delicious Thai food last night at Sweet Ginger. Then we went back over to my friends house and we chillaxed. I was the first one to wake up this morning, so I fed my cat and vegged out. My grandpa dropped off donuts on his way to work to I wolfed down on a jelly filled. I downloaded a new game called "Braid", with some of the most beutiful art and music I have ever seen in my life. I am now watching my bro fail terribly on another game we haven't played in a while, so bye.

Ark Angel

WAZZUP WAZZUP

I just finished reading Ark Angel, by Anthony Horowitz, (326 pages) and I gotta say, I can't wait to read Snakehead. Whenever I blog about Alex Rider books I ALWAYS say "their action packed". So, I'll say somthing different now... If food was awsome books, this book would "have all your key vitimans and nutrients". It is a TON of fun to read, and one literally cannot tell what will happen or how it's gonna end, until the very end. ----SPOILER----- One second Alex is watching an explosion on a paradise island, the next, he is fighting freaks with a kitchen knife in outer space. Literally. What more can I say? Read this series.

Hot Jobs In Video Games

Hot Jobs in Video Games is a sort of non-fiction biography type thing. It has very interesting information, like how to get started making games, good colleges to attend, and some interviews with proffesional game makers. This fact filled book by Joe Funk is 127 pages long. I highly enjoyed reading this book, and I found it very interesting. I recommend it to everyone interested in the entertainment buisness.

Book Review of Sea Glass

Have you ever been put under great amounts of peer pressure, what about family pressure, have you ever been called names or laughed at, do most people hate you? Well, Craig, the main character in Sea Glass by Laurence Yep, would have answered all of the above.
Craig's father has put him in a lot of pressure to do sports, only Craig hates them. Craig discovers his uncles cove, where everything is peaceful and learns to really look at things. Craig soon makes a friend named Kenyon, who bond together and share secrets. When Craig finds out what he is doing with his uncle isn't special, his life turns upside down. Craig gets in a fight with his dad, his uncle, his best friend, and everything is ruined. When his uncle pays him a visit, his father realizes he does not want to do sports, and everything is better than it was before.
If you like stories with a good story line and a heartwarming tale, this book is perfect for you. I am not much of a fan of these kinds of books, but I found it very enjoyable. Anyone looking for a classic tale by a great author, should read this book. =)

Book Review

"Alex knew how to beat this, he could do things that were unexpected, he knew how to get out of this game."

Eagle Strile is the fourth installment in the Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz. This action-packed thrill ride is a realistic fiction about a teen-spy lone wolf. He knows celebrity, Damien Cray, plans on killing millions, but he can't convince anyone else, and Cray, will stop at nothing, to kill him. This books audience is mainly for ages 11-16.
This book has no, if not very, very, few weak pooints. It is extremely well written, with more action and suspense in one chapter, than in some whole books. It is full of twists and turns, including one that will leave your jaw dropped. This author writes many books like this one, but so far, this is my favorite. I highly recommend this book for anyone with a desire for action, suspense, twists, and overall awsomeness. This book delivers on all levels.
This book is not for everyone to read, as it is pretty intense, but in a good way. Eagle Strike is satisfying in just about every way possible. This does not come as a suprise coming from this author, who writes many great books in the same genre. Eagle Strike is a great book.

Dragon Road quicky

Dragon Road by Laurence Yep is a 320 page novel about a Chinese-American basketball team. It is one of Yep's most popular books, and I can definantly see why. While being about basketball and the team, it is perfectly balanced with real life challenges like love. It is a great book and I recommend it to all.

Eagle Strike Blog

Eagle Strike by Anthony Horowitz a totally awsome-action packed-wicked tight-322 page novel.
Its is the fourth installment in the Alex Rider series, and personally my favorite so far. Alex is on his own for this adventure, as he tries to prove to the world that Sir Damien Cray is an insane mad-man bent on destruction. Damien thinks he is doing the world a favor by launching 25 nucleur missiles in to places that grow drugs, but he is going to kill millions. Alex gets trapped in a video game simulation in real life, and his girlfriend is being held captive at Cray's house. This book is full of twists, and awsome action scenes, that will keep you hooked until the very, twisted, end, where Alex finds out the truth, about his parents. This book is 100% awsome, and will keep you reading until the very end, I recommend it to everyone!

The invention of Hugo Cabret

The invention of Hugo Cabret is a 525 page novel of pictures and words. It has 158 pictures and 26,159 words, of which tell this beloved tale. It has a juicy storyline set in Paris, and includes some information about the worlds first movies. It is about a young boy named Hugo Cabret and his adventure of a life time, as a thief, magician, inventor and other wonderful things. This book is a delightful read and I highly recommend it to all.

Churchill and his woeful wars

Churchill and his woeful wars is a 189 page biography by Alan MacDonald, about Winston Churchill. It
is very informative and filled with humor. Not only does it contain TONS of information on Winston, but also some facts on WWII. There are several pictures that help explain what is happening, which is a refreshing addition to 6th grade books. Churchill and his woeful wars is a very fun, informative biography, and I recommend it to all who crave knowlage on WWII, Britan, or Winston Churchill.
